Announcing Our 26–27 Season

This season, the Idaho State-Civic Symphony explores what holds us steady - the natural world, the communities that sustain us, the art that reminds us of our highest aspirations, and the resilience to dream beyond adversity. Woven throughout is a recurring theme of the sea: timeless, ever-changing, and always calling us back.

Highlights include soprano Kristin Renee Young returning for Strauss's Four Last Songs alongside Debussy's La Mer (October 2), the world premiere of a new native flute concerto commissioned by ISCS (November), a holiday celebration with the ISU Choirs and Camerata Singers (December), music of Elgar and Britten (February), and a season finale featuring concertmaster Hyeri Choi performing Glazunov's Violin Concerto before Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony closes out the year.
