About the Music
Who is the Idaho State-Civic Symphony?
Pocatello has had a community orchestra for more than a century, and the Idaho State-Civic Symphony carries that tradition forward today. We bring together community musicians, Idaho State University students and faculty in a one-of-a-kind collaboration that reflects the best of what Pocatello has to offer, and we are so glad to be an important part of this community.
But we are more than concerts. Every year we welcome more than 3,000 area students to experience live orchestral music, completely free of charge. We run workshops, camps, and a thriving Youth Orchestra because we believe music belongs to everyone and that it has the power to change lives.
If tonight sparks something for you, we would love to see you again. Our regular season concerts takes place in the stunning Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the Stephens Performing Arts Center on ISU campus, and we would love to welcome you there. Explore our upcoming season and find your next experience with us.
