Planned Giving

Leaving a gift to the ISCS in your will is easy to arrange and is one of the most flexible ways of giving. When considering your gift or writing your will, we recommend that you seek the advice of a professional advisor who will be able to provide detailed guidance on the various types of legacy gifts. For example, you may wish to leave the ISCS a proportion of your residuary estate, a specific sum, or the gift of an asset, such as stocks and shares. We would be pleased to answer any questions you might have about leaving a legacy gift to the ISCS.

The ISCS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and a legacy gift to the Orchestra will be deducted from your estate before inheritance tax is calculated, thereby reducing the overall amount of inheritance tax payable.

If you have decided to leave a gift to the ISCS in your will, or are considering remembering the ISCS in this meaningful way, we would be delighted to hear from you. While there is no obligation to let us know your intentions, we would value the opportunity to thank you for your support, and to keep you informed of the ISCS’s work.

Leaving a legacy in your will is one of the most enduring gifts you can make, and ensures that future generations continue to have access to the outstanding music-making of the Orchestra here in Interior Alaska.

When the time is right for you to include a gift in your will, consider including us. Every contribution, large or small, is deeply appreciated and will make a difference to the future of the FSO. By making this lasting commitment, you will be leaving your own musical legacy for future generations to enjoy.
